We attempt to moderate user generated content, but we are not always able to do so as soon as that content is published. If you complain about any of the content on our website, we shall investigate your complaint. If we feel it is justified or if we believe the law requires us to do so, we shall remove the content while we investigate.
Free speech is a fundamental right, so we have to make a judgement as to whose right will be obstructed: yours, or that of the person who posted the content that offends you. If we think your complaint is vexatious or without any basis, we shall not correspond with you about it.
7. Information relating to your method of payment
We do not store information about your debit or credit card or other means of payment when you checkout on our e-Commerce store. We use a fully hosted payment solution with our payment provider who are fully PCI Level 1 compliant and handle all our payments directly.
Our website receives communication only of successful authorisation and does not interact with your payment card information. Additionally, personal identifiable information such as the cardholder name, type of card or last four digits is not recorded or stored in any way against any order placed in our e-Commerce store.
8. Sending a message to our customer services team
When you contact us, whether by telephone, through our website or directly by e-mail, we collect the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need. We record and store your request and our reply in order to increase the efficiency of FestiveHomeGifts.com Ltd.
We may record details provided by telephone including but not limited to queries about your orders which are kept private in our order system, and for information submitted by e-mail these e-mails will be held securely for up to 2 years after which they will be deleted. Personally identifiable information associated with your message, such as your name or email address will be stored.

We have updated our data requests with Google Analytics which will automatically delete collected browsing data after 14 months.

Our website is securely hosted in the United Kingdom. Our e-commerce provider (EKM Systems Ltd) uses servers which are securely located in sites which may change from time to time geographically around the United Kingdom.
We and or EKM Systems Ltd, may also use outsourced services in countries outside the European Union from time to time in other aspects of our business, but always ensuring the prospective partner provides robust safeguards of data transfer. Accordingly data obtained within the UK or any other country could be processed outside the European Union.
We use the following safeguards with respect to data transferred outside the European Union:
16.1. the processor is within the same corporate group as our business or organisation and abides by the same binding corporate rules regarding data processing. We specifically note, where applicable our data processors including Google, LLC are registered members of the EU-US Privacy Shield programme and FestiveHomeGifts.com Ltd thoroughly vets any partner processors before commencement of such services.
